See how +jasonvelocity has a "+" in front of his name instead of a "~" like you or I? The symbols denote different account types. "~" is just a normal member account, "*" is someone with a paid subscription to the site, and then $, @, `, ^, +, and a few others are site administrators, gallery directors, senior members, etc.
